What you’ll be doing: 

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of duties involving coordinating inventory and material handling to meet schedules to provide outstanding customer support and service.  
 

Core Responsibilities (Daily, Highest Impact) 
  • Receive and inspect all incoming products and accessories. 
  • Pick, stage, and prepare outgoing whole-goods shipments. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory and rotate aging units. 
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse environment. 
  • Load/unload machines and equipment using appropriate equipment. 
  • Follow all Warehouse Health & Safety procedures. 

Operational Support Responsibilities 
  • Learn Kooy product lines and store goods correctly. 
  • Receive and stage shipments for internal departments. 
  • Prepare and complete required shipping documentation. 
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and report issues. 
  • Process and ship online and parts department orders. 
  • Participate in the annual inventory count. 

Additional Duties 
  • Assist with special warehouse projects. 
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. 
 
What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ Warehouse shipping/receiving experience or relevant work experience working with machinery and movement of goods 
  • Forklift Operators Certification is preferred 
  • Previous experience operating reach truck and/or scissor lifts is preferred 
  • Must have ability to get (re)certified for all lift trucks  
  • Must have proven mechanical aptitude 
  • Previous experience operating power equipment is required  
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills 
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills 
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel 
  • Bin location experience is an asset 
  • Ability to lift and carry large, bulky and/or heavy products up to 50 lbs. is required 
  • Must have a valid G Driver’s License 
  • Ability to work weekends (8am – 12 noon) in Spring/Fall and on a rotation throughout rest of the year 
 
Success Characteristics: 
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse or machinery handling experience. 
  • Forklift Operator Certification preferred; ability to be re-certified required. 
  • Experience with reach trucks, scissor lifts, and other power equipment. 
  • Mechanical aptitude. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Valid G Driver’s License. 
  • Ability to work Saturday mornings during peak seasons.

Compensation

$42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
